Services for Educators
The Library offers many services to Piscataway K-12 schools, pre-schools and daycare centers. We can supplement your classroom instruction and host special programs to engage your students. You can schedule a class visit for:
Library tours
Story times at the library or at your facility
Book talks of new or curriculum-related titles
Research help
Presentations on useful databases and homework help resources
Special programs that supplement your classroom instruction

If you would like to request a visit, either at our location or yours, please submit the Request a Tour or Visit Form. Please note that priority will be given to schools located in Piscataway.
Get a Library Card
Educators who work in Piscataway are entitled to the same borrowing privileges as Piscataway residents.
In order to obtain a library card as a non-resident, Piscataway employees must show proof of their home address, employment, and the Piscataway address of their place of employment (pay stub, letter signed by supervisor on letterhead).

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program is a nationwide initiative that encourages parents and caregivers to read 1,000 books before entering kindergarten.
