Event Details

All ages are invited to join us for making demonstrations and activities from 11am-3pm.

Enjoy activities lead by your favorite Library staff and meet our community partners! Make the most of your New Jersey Makers Day by visiting both Piscataway Public Library locations. 

At Westergard Library: 

  • explore architecture in miniature
  • make your own crystal suncatcher or paper sculpture 
  • find your way through a gravity maze
  • meet our community partners, including Master Gardeners, Rutgers American Preventive Screening & Education Association, and STEM Seeds
    ... and more!

Many activities will be available at both buildings. Visit Kennedy or Westergard to:

  • press a new pin with our button makers
  • contribute to community murals 
  • play with robots
  • make your own Huichol yarn painting
  • launch a straw rocket
  • learn how to make a zine
