For students in kindergarten to grade 6
From the 8th to the 13th centuries, during the Islamic Golden Age, traders and travelers journeyed from the east in China to Africa and Europe in the west. As they traded goods through Muslim lands, they also shared important ideas in science, math, medicine, finance and technology. These ideas helped inspire modern innovations used in today's world. Join us for fun, hands-on activities and simple crafts, while supplies last, to explore the routes the travelers followed, the items they traded, and how their journeys helped spread knowledge that shaped our civilization today. Registration is encouraged for event reminders and updates.
