Learn about what it really takes to be a re-enactor, from Dan McCarthy of the Hessian Fieldjaegers, an authentic Revolutionary War reenactment group within the British Brigade.

Join us as we welcome back Chef Sank of Eat Krave Love, who will demonstrate internationally inspired dishes while bringing cultures together through her cooking.

Ages 6-24 months

Join us for Community Arts Day! Enjoy music and dance performances and table displays with traditional, handmade and cultural art, photography, calligraphy, poetry, sculptures, jewelry, clothing, and more. 

Come mingle with other parents/caregivers as your child/children play. Good opportunity to chat with other caregivers and socialize.

Join us for some unguided artistic exploration! Each program will feature a different artistic medium for you to experiment with and use to create your own unique piece, as well as tips, samples, and inspiration.

Teens entering Grades 9-12 are invited to join us at this orientation session to learn how to volunteer at the library. We will be going over basic guidelines and viewing a required training video. 

American Sign Language for Beginners Level 2

Bring your kids ages 18 months - 5 years for a special story time with Councilmember Sharon Carmichael and library staff! Enjoy books, songs, and free play.

Registration encouraged. 

The ancient art of block printing makes designing beautiful scarves fun and easy! Each participant receives a kit with a white pure cotton "dupatta" or a long scarf and a hand-carved wood block to make their beautiful creation.

Attunement Time is a caregiver/child experience of movement, musical foundations, early literacy, and respectful parenting practices, led by certified parenting educator Angela Dallesandro (@angedallesandro).

Join us for a new knitting circle on every first Thursday of each month! Relax and connect with others who love knitting and crocheting. Please bring your own projects and supplies. No instruction will be provided.
