Himalayan Poppy Oil Pastel Painting

This is the first oil pastel workshop introduced to the library, in which we will learn chemistry between different mediums, basic techniques of using oil pastel. Oil pastel paintings of the Himalayan blue poppy ( Meconopsis betonicifolia ) are popular artistic representations of these rare, vibrant flowers, aiming to capture the intense blue, papery texture, and golden-yellow center.
