Your firewall may be blocking the download. You must configure your firewall to permit the OverDrive Media Console to access the Internet.

If you have Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall, you can use the following directions to configure it to permit the OverDrive Media Console to access the Internet.

1. Open Norton Internet Security and click on the Norton Internet Security button.
2. Then click on Personal Firewall.

3. Then click on the Configure button.

4. Click on the Programs Tab.

 5. Click on the Add button.

6. Navigate to the OverDrive Media Console folder and click the folder to highlight it. Then click on the Open button.

7. Click on MediaConsole to highlight it. Then click on the Open button.

8. Make sure that the Norton Internet Security Program Control says Permit. Then click on the OK button.

9. You should see OverDrive Media Console on the list of Programs with Permit all Internet Access. Click on the OK button to finish.

10. Return to the ListenNJ web site, click on Audiobook Account and login.
(Remember to Select Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium in the drop down box .)

11. Click on My Cart. Then click on the My Audiobooks Checked Out link.

12. Click on the download button to download the book that you have checked out.
