The Friends of Piscataway Library are looking for new members for 2010!  Memberships start as low as $5.00 for the year.  Join for $25.00 or more, and a book will be gift-plated in your honor or in memory of someone important to you. 

Friends Recognize the value of a strong Public Library as a community resource; Supplement Library services through donations and fundraising events; Sponsor special programs; and Encourage community and township support.  Benefits of a  Friends' Membership include:

1. Home mailing of the Library's News & Events newletter!
2. First Pick at the Book Sale on Preview Nights
3. Support of a dynamic, proactive community Library!

The Friends underwrite special programs at the library and make contributions toward equipment and building enhancements.  They have sponsored the International Film Festival, purchased two circulating DVD players, donated start-up funds for the DVD collection at Kennedy, and  provided the awnings over the Circulation area at Kennedy Library.  In addition, they hold an annual Book Sale.
