Public Library Invites Everyone Test Their Knowledge of Baseball Facts and
"Step
Up to the Plate @ your library" with a National Baseball Trivia Contest
being sponsored by the American Library Association and the National Baseball
Hall of Fame and Museum.
This Year's Program Includes a Special "Take Me Out to the Ball
Game"
Theme in honor of the Song's 100th Anniversary.

The contest will run
through September 1, 2008.

There
are four categories by age group: 10 and under; 11-13; 14-17; and 18
and up.
-
Each group
downloads their own Playbook.
-
Each
Playbook poses a series of baseball-related questions to test players'
information literacy skills.

Players
can enter the prize drawing by submitting the completed Playbook either by
mail or online.
Everyone who successfully completes the program will be
eligible to win the Grand Prize, a trip for two
to the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y. Twenty First Prize Packages
will also be awarded.
As an added bonus, Piscataway Library customers who
enter the "Step Up to the Plate
@ your library Contest" will be eligible for a drawing being held at
the Library.
The prize and the winner will be announced at the end of the program in
September.
