Free DMV Practice Tests Available Online!

A free driver education program is available on our website under the "Research" tab and Free DMV Practice Tests.  This program includes: 11 car practice tests, 9 motorcycle practice tests, 12 CDL (commercial driver's license) practice tests, 3 online driver's manuals (car, motorcycle, CDL), and a FAQ section with detailed answers to over 100 DMV-related questions. These practice tests are good for the permit test, driver's license test and the senior citizens' refresher test. They will be updated as new practice tests become available. Piscataway Public Library Hour of Code

Computer programming, or coding, is a hot trend as more tools and resources are available for almost anyone to begin learning how to code in a variety of languages and all types of tasks from web developemt, to video game design and more! Join us for a fun and flexible afternoon where you can stop in and try your hand at some easy coding exercises, tutorials, games and more. We will have laptops and resources on hand for you to spend just a little time seeing what coding is all about. Who knows? There may be some robots joining us too...

This program will take place at the Kennedy Library in the main exhibit space and is for ages 5 to Adult (all children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult). There is NO REGISTRATION required - just stop in and give it a try!

Do you love to read and love to share what you have read with others? We have just created another way for you to do this! When you are at Kennedy Library, be sure to look for the white notebook at the Information Desk with  on the cover! We encourage you to recommend titles here and write comments about the book if you'd like. We will also post your recommendations on the website. You can indicate in the notebook whether you want your recommendation credited to you or annonymous.  Plus find more Reading Recommendations and Services on the Adult Services page of the website!
